Who are We?

Greenlands is a group of Newlands Neighbors (roughly defined as Alpine to Iris, Broadway to Third Street) who are working toward a sustainable community through green social and educational gatherings and information sharing. We invite you to subscribe to our Website to stay informed about neighborhood events and green living.

We support and promote neighborhood businesses and recycling of usable goods. Registered Website users who reside in the Newlands Neighborhood are able to post their own classified ads for the following categories: For Sale, Free, Housing, Jobs Available, Services Offered. For a small annual fee ($10), you can submit your logo/link to be posted in the neighborhood business section. This fee will be used to pay for our Web hosting and meeting space donations for occasional programs.

Our steering committee meets every other month to plan fun and educational neighborhood gatherings. We welcome your suggestions.

Support Your Neighbor Owned Businesses

Help support your neighbors in their businesses and help neighbors find often needed vendors, professionals and services. If you are a Newlands Neighbor and wish to add your business to the site, please register as a user of this site, then email your request including your logo/website. Ads are $10 annually which helps us pay for Web hosting, occasional neighborhood mailings, and events.
