This year’s Junkengruven, Newlands’ own spring cleanup, will take place the weekend of June 6-7.  To participate, clean out your garage, basement, or attic and put unwanted, useable items on your front lawn or driveway for  neighbors to take home, free of charge. 

 Please put out a simple sign that says Junkengruven or Free.  A piece of paper weighted with a rock will do.  Please remember that the City of Boulder requires all items be removed from sidewalks, driveways, and yards by 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening.  Please email Mariella at colvin@ecentral.com with any questions.

Mariella  knows of an organization that collects any and all books, CDs, DVDs, and specialty magazines and journals.  They are sold to benefit local charities and distributed to local schools, libraries, and charitable organizations.  Donated items can be taken at any time, so if you want to have books, CDs, or DVDs  picked up, send an email to Mariella at colvin@ecentral.com.   She  will arrange to have them picked up.  Any items not able to be used will be recycled.  Please email Mariella with any questions about donating items.
